PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a regenerative treatment that harnesses and amplifies the natural growth factors found in our blood cells. They are both made from a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and growth factors.
PRP is a liquid concentrate often paired with microneedling for the face or scalp, while PRF also retains white blood cells in a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly — making it a popular choice for delicate areas like the under-eyes. For facial applications, PRP/PRF have been shown to enhance skin texture, reduce fine lines, and improve volume.

The experience

After a consultation to confirm the right treatment area and choice between PRP and PRF, a small blood sample is drawn in-office, similar to routine bloodwork, and spun in a centrifuge to isolate the concentrate.

Depending on your goals, the concentrate is delivered by injection (under-eyes, marionette lines, scalp) or infused through microneedling channels (vampire facial). Numbing is used beforehand, and the full visit runs 45–60 minutes.

Mild redness or swelling typically resolves within 2–4 days. Collagen-driven improvements build gradually over the following months, with a series of sessions recommended for the best long-term results.
