It’s worth knowing how this differs from traditional fat transfer, which requires liposuction from a donor site on your body before re-injecting it — Lipoderma skips that step entirely by using donor tissue instead. Unlike your own tissue which can vary in quality & composition, Lipoderma is a consistent, high quality fat product. It is also worth noting how it differs from HA dermal filler, which is a synthetic gel-like substance that temporarily plumps and contours the face, whereas Lipoderma is designed to replace volume with living tissue.
