Our medical weight loss program uses GLP-1 medications — semaglutide and tirzepatide — to reduce appetite, slow digestion, and help your body regulate blood sugar, making sustainable calorie reduction realistic instead of a constant fight. We typically prescribe compounded versions of these medications, which allow us to personalize dosing and add supportive ingredients aimed at reducing common side effects like nausea and protecting lean muscle mass during the weight loss process.
This isn’t a self-serve prescription. Every Tone weight loss patient is managed by a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner under the guidance of our medical director, with a required initial consultation and monthly in-person check-ins to track progress, adjust dosing, and monitor for side effects — the level of oversight a program like this should have.
The experience
01
You’ll start with an intake form so that we can gather information around your previous weight loss journey. From there, one of our providers will call to review your medical history and intake form as well as discuss your goals, candidacy and set realistic expectations. If you are a candidate, we will select and order medication and schedule an in person visit to show injection technique and discuss additional specifics to your plan.
02
New patients begin on a structured 3-month program with a weekly, self-administered injection and a required monthly in-person check-in, where your RN or NP reviews progress, side effects, and dosing under our medical director’s guidance.
02
After your initial 3 months, you move to flexible month-to-month dosing with continued monthly check-ins, so your plan keeps adjusting as your results and goals evolve.

why tone
GLP-1 medications work best with real clinical oversight. Every dose, refill, and check-in at Tone is reviewed by an RN or NP under our medical director’s guidance, not an app or a call center.
Investment
first 3 mo.
Compounded semaglutide programs and tirzepatide programs typically start around $1200 for the first 3 months; price is set at your consultation based on dose and medication. Tone members receive preferred program pricing.
good to know
Compounded semaglutide programs typically start around $299/month and compounded tirzepatide programs start around $499/month, with your exact dose and price set at your initial consultation. New patients begin with a required 3-month program, then move to flexible month-to-month dosing.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that reduces appetite and slows digestion. Tirzepatide acts on both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, which often produces greater average weight loss. Your provider will recommend the medication that best fits your health history and goals at your consultation.
We typically prescribe compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide because compounding allows precise, individualized dosing and the addition of supportive ingredients that can reduce common side effects and help protect lean muscle mass during weight loss — something a fixed brand-name dose cannot offer.

Every medical weight loss patient is managed by a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner under the guidance of our medical director, so your dosing and progress are always reviewed by a qualified clinician.
