Sculptra is an FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulator. Rather than adding volume directly the way a dermal filler does, it works beneath the skin to stimulate your body’s own collagen production — gradually restoring structure and fullness over the following months.
At Tone, Sculptra treatment plans are designed in conjunction with a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Our injectors map the number of vials and injection pattern to your unique facial anatomy and pace of volume loss — never a standardized package. Because of our relationship with Dr. Okland, we also have extensive experience appropriately and effectively using Sculptra as a method of maintenance for deep-plane facelift and facial rejuvenation surgery.
The experience
01
We evaluate your degree of volume loss and collagen needs to map out how many vials and sessions your results will require.
02
Sculptra is injected into the deeper layers of skin across your treatment areas, typically taking 30–45 minutes per session.
03
We’ll guide you through gentle at-home massage for the days following treatment and schedule your next session — most patients complete 2–3 total.
why tone
Because Sculptra’s results build gradually over months, precise dosing and injection depth matter enormously — too little under-corrects, too much can look unnatural. Every Sculptra plan at Tone is designed under Dr. Tyler Okland’s surgical understanding of facial anatomy as well as that of our Injectors, so results build exactly where you need them.
Investment
starts at
Most patients need 2-4 vials for optimal results. Exact pricing is confirmed at your consultation and members receive preferred rates.
good to know
Sculptra is priced per vial, and most patients need 2 to 4 vials per session across a series of 2 to 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your exact treatment plan and cost are confirmed at your consultation anatomy and goals. Volume discounting is applied for multiple vials.
Results typically last 2 or more years, considerably longer than traditional dermal fillers, since Sculptra rebuilds your own collagen rather than simply adding volume.
Because Sculptra works gradually, initial changes appear around 6 to 8 weeks after your first session, with full results developing over the following months as your collagen rebuilds.
Sculptra works well for patients who want gradual, natural-looking volume restoration over several months rather than an immediate change — it’s a good fit for overall facial thinning rather than a single targeted area.
Most patients return to normal activities immediately, though mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection sites can last a few days to a week.
Dermal filler adds immediate volume with hyaluronic acid that the body gradually absorbs over 6 to 18 months. Sculptra instead stimulates your own collagen production for a more gradual, longer-lasting result. Learn more about dermal filler.
